In 1993, I received a female yellow lab puppy as a gift and the love training and hunting with labs began. That first dog and I hunted all over the state of Iowa hunting geese, quail, ducks, and pheasants. She had a heart of gold and would do anything to please her young owner. After she passed I decided to look for another female to hunt with that fall, and I bought a 9 month old dog Dixie, then later, Izzy, and finally another yellow female. "Babe," so my search for dogs that I can hunt, train, and campaign has come to and end.....for the time being. We are training hard and starting to see the results.
