Marietta's Retrievers
In 1988 I got my first lab, a black female named Smokey. In 1993, I received a female yellow lab puppy as a gift and the love training and hunting with labs began. She was the first dog that I trained farther than sit, here, and stay. That first hunting dog and I hunted all over the state of Iowa hunting geese, quail, ducks, and pheasants. She had a heart of gold and would do anything to please her young owner. Since my first lab 22 years ago I have trained a countless number of retrievers to hunt, compete in hunt tests, and field trials.
