Breeding Information
In order to breed to any of our studs, we require that the female have her hips certified by OFA and her eyes certified by CERF. For a natural breeding, we also require a recent brucellosis test with a negative result. We recommend getting the brucellosis test as soon as she comes in season as it can often take 4 or 5 days to get the results. We like to have the female by day 8 so that she has time to settle in before we do the breeding. We live close the Des Moines airport and several airlines fly in there, so shipping to us is easy.
We do have a facility nearby to do frozen or a fresh chilled breeding and have had excellent luck when breeders have used frozen by surgical implant. In order to get everything shipped in time, please notify us as soon as she comes in so that we can make arrangements with the storage facility.

All pups come with a 30 month guarantee on hips and eyes.
Pup is guaranteed to pass OFA and CERF, provided that the pup has not sired or whelped a litter and that the name "Marietta" appears in the front of the registered name. A copy of results must be mailed to me. All expenses of returning the pup is the owner's responsibility. If you decide you want to keep the pup, a spay/neuter agreement must be signed and operation completed so dog can't sire/whelp any litters. A replacement pup will be provided from the next available litter. If the value of that pup is more than the previous pup, the owner will make up the difference.
